I dont no wat the mod is but the KARMA mod does a similar function where you can get negative karma if you post something deemed unnessesary.

I simple textarea could be used to add a new announcement if ppl dont like the ckeditor. Im not sure how the phpbb editor is called so i cant use it. The ckeditor takes as long as a 5 mb upload takes and doesnt need any alterning. That is why i thought it would be useful. Im not trying to annoy ...

Fair enough. Delete my post and winge less. Im trying to give ppl an extra option but perhaps default is the way to go. Pro silver for all.

i have since figured out how to add a field wereby you can post new announcements via a WYSIWYG text editor. If anyone is interested i can show you how. Attached are pictures of it.

Perhaps you could help me with something else then. How can i change the code so the it uses the default login page.
By this i mean that when going to the /portal.php page it goes to the login screen. I want this because i dont want ppl seeing the announcement on the portal page.

I worked out the issue i had. My header bar was an entire image and didnt need sides. Sadly i dont know how this could be remedied. I have added an announcement table to my portal. Is it possible to setup an announce.php that appears like the posting.php that writes the data wanted in html format ...
