BBCode for prettyphoto iframe to chosen site
Prettyphoto's iFrame is pretty cool. It doesn't scroll along with the page as highslide iFrame does, and all links work within the iFrame. If you want to have a popup link this is how to do it. In this example I trust the site trusted-site.com (you give the base URL of the site here and add the ...

Keyword Cannibalization
Keywords aren't such an issue for Search Engines as they used to be due to keyword loading that designers started to use. SEO depends on a variety of factors, from page title, topic title, h1, h2 headings, meta description, keywords, internal links etc. Keywords help with 'categorisation' of your ...

Forum SEO in footer
The position of the text on the page is irrelevant. Forum SEO puts keywords and description in the <head> area of your page, where it can be seen by the search engine bots. To check it out, 'view page source' in your browser and look for: <meta name="keywords" content="page, content, keywords ...

It does look a bit 'bottom heavy' and with the the adaptive height it would be better to have the controls at the top, as you say, so the buttons would not move every time you click forwards or backwards. There are plenty of other js sliders out there, all with their own features and options, so ...

Ok, it's nice to share, and someone may be able to improve on it. 1) Download and copy bxslider folders including js and css to the forum root, from http://bxslider.com 2) In overall_header put these lines in near the top where the other css is loaded: <!-- IF SCRIPT_NAME == S_INDEX_PAGE --> <link ...

I'll send it to you as quality control. Happy to share if it gets the official Stoker seal of approval.
I am getting a blue background in the box as it loads, so maybe not ready for the prime time, yet.

Thanks Stoker, that's all I needed, that one line. Now works fine on Board Index. Thinking now there is no need for a separate quotes page, as the visitor can get all the quotes from the Board Index. Happy to share all my edits to get it to work with bxslider, if anyone wants to try it. For demo ...

Thanks for the info. I installed bxslider jquery, set to Slidehow using adaptiveHeight , moved the left and right controls down and gave them a higher z-index, to give the following rough and ready quotes page: Screen Shot 2013-03-04 at 18.10.22.jpg Not sure how to get something like this on my ...

Don't mean to be a pain (not really), but would it be possible to put in a navigation bar, for visitors to navigate through the quotes, rather than just having them appear on page (re)load. It may be more useful to my forum to do this, as many of the topics require registration to see, but I would ...
