nvm, I found the problem. Automod has the bad habit of screwing up my files when porting edits to other styles. (Like placing them wrong and deleting old edits (even old PHP edits))

No, I didn't. The behavior of the mchat is like this:
When you've sent a message, the button won't react anymore. So this requires you to or use the enter key or to refresh page to send a second message. This is similar to the behavior of this mod which also disables the submit button.
