Hello everyone

Your event calendar is intended for individual days and for me it would need the following

Freely selectable forum when creating an event, or more than one forum in the ACP, selectable and selectable when creating an event.

Recurring event: Yes/No (selectable when creating the event)

Event repeats every X days (freely configurable days)
Example:
Monday event, recurring every 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, and/or 28 days

Same day as event, every X month (freely configurable month)
Example:
Tuesday event, recurring every 1st, 2nd, 3rd month, etc.

Any day, every X month (days and months freely configurable)
Example:
Sunday event, recurring every 1st, 2nd, 3rd month, etc.

(Weekdays Monday - Sunday & months January - December)

With these three options, we can manage and coordinate almost 2,000 appointments.
The appointments should be able to be set up and displayed as different raids, member events, guild councils, etc. (insert different display icons or calendar headings). If an appointment is set for a Monday and set to recur for the next few months, a reminder should be shown in the calendar overview on every Monday on which this appointment takes place,

Each individual appointment, including recurring appointments, should have its own registration function

If I could, I would do things like that ;)

^^ events have a start and end points, not set for one day.
Freely selectable forum when creating an event, or more than one forum in the ACP, selectable and selectable when creating an event.
^^ this has been requested before. and easy to achieve.
Recurring event: Yes/No (selectable when creating the event)
^^ End day/hour/min: available when creating an event
Event repeats every X days (freely configurable days)
Example:
Monday event, recurring every 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, and/or 28 days

Same day as event, every X month (freely configurable month)

Any day, every X month (days and months freely configurable)

i will look into this at some point.

If you really take the time and effort, I'll be the first to use the calendar.

I simply need recurring events that I can group together in one topic, in freely selectable forums. Otherwise, there will be thousands of individual topics with thousands of individual events, and I don't have that time, and the forum won't like me anymore either

Just an example:
When I create an event in the current event calendar

Year: 2025 - 2025
Month: August - December
Start Day: August 5th
End Day: August 5th
Time Start: 8:00 PM - Time End: 11:00 PM

The start and end times of the event will be displayed in the event details, where the registered members are also listed.

Tuesday 5th
Time: August 5, 2025, 00:00, Ends: December 31, 2025, 03:00 Europe/Zurich
Starts in 16 days, Lasts 148 days

However, the calendar overview only displays the event that was created, i.e., the first event on August 5th, not the dates for September 5th, October 5th, November 5th, or December 5th. The end date selection can only be made up to the 31st, i.e., for the same month as the start date.

Each of these dates, August 5th, September 5th, October 5th, etc., should then be displayed recurringly, as is currently the case with annual events. There should be a separate registration page for each of these dates, displaying the registrations.
Unfortunately I can't make it on August 5th, but I have time on September 5th and October 5th.

I would be thrilled if the features and displays of recurring appointments were integrated into a modern, future-proof calendar. Regardless of whether hjw brings its calendar back into the modern age (which, unfortunately, is unlikely) or into a modern calendar like yours, which is being further developed and worked on.

In the end, you would have to look at how to get the dates from the hjw database into the Steve database, because I would hate to lose the guild's scheduling history ;)

At the moment I would be lost without hjw Calendar and its core, the recurring appointments, and a poor guy
