Top Stats uninstall issue?

I'll give you that one; I am a "special needs" developer, if you hadn't noticed... :D
Check your board for errors and check the files manually for any entries from the uninstalled mod.
Ok, I shall, THEN should I try to re-autoMOD? If so, any advice this time? There MUST be smth I'm doing wrong... right?

Top Stats uninstall issue?

I must admit that I only use automod to test if I can install and uninstall my mods on a clean board.
Dont know much about how automod works.

I think you should make yourself a testboard and play around with automod and all the mods you like to install.
That way you dont make any trouble for your live board.
If you have any doubts about automod then go to their support section. Thats the best way to learn it.
Remember, all of us has been in your situation. Take the time, then you will be fine.

Well if you usually do it manually then that's what I'll try to do also. Do you have any input on how to get the final TopStats install file to run? That's what I was having trouble getting to run to complete the installation with this step: 2. Run the installer install_top_stats.php

I couldn't get it to open. Can you tell me how I can do that or how I can manually run it? Thanks in advance.

P.S.: Let me know if you are interested in doing my other mods and let me know how much it would cost for you to do them...

Compatibility with other styles?

Ok, so from what I can tell, this whole mod is installed fine, and the only issue I'm having is being able to run the php install file. Does anyone know how I can do that perhaps through cPanel or anything? When I open the file in a browser it simply gives me the code, when I place the file in a dir like /root and navigate to it with my browser it gives me the error message I posted above. I JUST need to figure out how to run this php final install file and I think I'll be okay. Thanks in advance.

Okay, just for purposes of documentation and if someone else has this problem- I FINALLY got that SOB to install. I reinstalled with autoMOD but I finally figured out that autoMOD kept putting the file here: /public_html/store/mods/Top_Stats_1.0.8/root/language/en/mods/umil_top_stats_install.php

Yet it kept looking for (a different) php install file here: ./language/en_us/mods/umil_top_stats_install.php. So, I searched for THIS install file and put it in the dir where autoMOD was looking for it, and it installed.

LOL, okay NOW the issue I'm having is that it appears to have put MORE files in inappropriate places. For example in ACP I'm now getting this error message: "Cannot find module ./../includes/acp/acp_topstats.php"

I'll keep trying to trudge through this crap so hopefully I'm the last person who has to go thru all this nonsense.

Ok, now I've put acp_topstats.php in includes/acp and it's giving me the error message: "template->_tpl_load_file(): File ./style/acp_topstats.html does not exist or is empty"

Any suggestions now?

Update: was just a guess, but a good one I suppose. I took acp_topstats.html and put it into adm/style simply because there were lots of other acp_xxx.html files there and it makes sense for it to have gone there. I'll update if any more issues...

Okay, I'm going to need help now... I have the ACP controls functional, but it's giving me some weird coded looking text and there's obviously more files I need to transfer from somewhere to make it translate. I need the text to be so that I can understand it. I'll give a screenshot to explain what I mean.

See? There's obviously some language/script issue and I need to put another file in the right place. Which one is it?

LOL and of course it's not showing up in prosilver... BUT, at least I'm getting there..

No scrolling function or buttons, also have bracketed text

So, I FINALLY got this thing installed. Did everything as described in the file However, I don't have the scrolling function working or the buttons showing. I also have brackets around my text and underscores btwn wording in the actual mod AND in the ACP. Does anyone have any input on how to make it function properly? I'll attach screen shots to show what I mean.
