Bootable Rescue USB

Post by Stoker »

Need a bootable USB rescue program for an old labtop with a (maybe) damaged HD
I need to pull out the data from the HDD
Its not my labtop, so I would prefer something that also detect viruses.

Any good suggestions?

with Balena or Rufus

With Balena or Rufus you can make a bootable USB
Some [romanian] and [spanish] translations of extensions.

Did it work? Last time I had that problem I had a really hard time making a bootable recovery usb. It used to be so easy. I think I ended up borrowing a Linux Mint CD from a friend. Update us if you find a good resource.

Good luck!

Try this :

Make a bootable image with above mentioned Rufus. This is like a Swiss army knive.
