Caching is done to improve performance.
Its not that most viewed and most replied changes that much, so my advice is to keep the caching as it is.

Any idea why sometimes there are lots of forums / categories missing in most replied then?
Like on the screenshot a few posts back..

Because theremare no forums or topics to display?
