In other words replace those square images that GlosslyBlack has next to forum name with an individual image for each

then you will need to to the the ACP where you created your forum and there is a section underneath the forum description that says forum image! you just put a link to the image you want! I usually have a folder in my images folder named forum_images and put the link to the image as images/forum_images/imagename.XXX

Yes but the image that is there wont be removed. If I go to ACP add the image I want it is just going to be next to the image that is already there.

if you want to remove the topic icon that is there you will have to remove it from the imageset, then when you add the image like i told you it will show up by itself, but if you remove the topic icons, how will people know it there is a new or unread topic?

I still want those images there, but just not on the Board index.

well maybe Steve can help you with those edits, you will have to add some code to the html file so that it will not show up on the index!
this is how far i go i guess!

Is this possible? Just to change/remove those squared images on the board index, but once you click on a forum for those images to stay the way they are now?
