how did i do that ?

1. find /highslide/highslide-full.packed.js
(you should take a backup)

2. replace the current content of the file with
you dont need todo that ,it works fine with the files that is downloaded on the 1st page 8-)
all you have todo is what i said todo on the 1st page of this topic.

Folks I'm still not getting the effect that I want! I have taken the script that you have all supplied and tried them all. Yes I have refreshed all templates, purged cache and the browser cache and still I am not getting the partial black out effect around the picture popup like the demos on this site.

Answers anyone?

Yet another question :oops:
I want to add additional info on the highslide picture popup window (see attachment with Red Box) say, another web link next to the highslide js link, can someone please tell me what file needs to be editied in the HighSlide folder to achieve this?

Thats the problem Vectra, my forum is currently running on an internal intranet until we have it setup they way in which the members want it.

well i cant help you on either problem till i see your forum.The edits work 101% ,on a fresh install or an updated install of the hs mod.

Can i ask why you want a link in the highslide mod?
