Glad you got it figured out. Until google adsense are ready, you can use something else.

Hello,
I have some problems with settings for Adsense.
1/ Why do I see advertisement while it is in test mod ?
2/ I activated Adsense Page-Level ads for mobile content with script inserted, but banner is at the very bottom under forum at left. (But it display perfect on my smartphone).
3/ To insert advertisement, you say html is allowed. I only have script

Code: Select all

<script async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>
<!-- Réactif -->
<ins class="adsbygoogle"
xxxxxx
</script>
May be you mean for other kinds of ads.

1. Because you have admin permission. Testmode only display ads for admin.

2. You need to use adsense code for page level ads. Not just the standard ad code for banners.

3. Script is HTML.
Other ads are something else than adsense. Could be an image banner with an url

I'm adminin.
But why guests can view when it is in test mode?
I only use adsense code for page levels. I inserted both in ads for level and first row.
The big problem is that it displays horrible - on the left at bottom.

Edit:
You're right :oops:
code for page levels is not exactly the same.

Hi again.
Everything is ok as well on mobile device.
For style Elegance I copied prosilver files, so ads are on both styles.
Thanks a lot.

Its installed here. You can go to UCP board preff and see the setup. Users with auth for not seeing ads are able to deactivate ads in UCP ;)
I was on vacation for a while, but what a great addition! :) I will test it on localhost as soon as 1.0.7. is released.

Updated to 1.0.7
Fixed a few style bugs
New: Users with correct permissions can now enable/disable ads in UCP. Also they are allowed to use adblockers.

Awesome! I can verify it works like a charm. Thanks, Stoker!

To many of us who are running boards with no actual commercial supporters, this kind of EXT is golden. Ads are a must to cover the expenses. Also, if a board has donors, I think it's very important they have the option of switching off the ads. To our (very few, unfortunately...) donors that has been the most important aspect of being a donor despite several other benefits.
