Strange symbols in nickname

Hellooo,

I have a member with this nickname: standard de liëge
But the nickname is showing this on the forum:

Can I fix this somewhere please?
Or do I just need to ask the member to change his nickname?

What's your forums default language and a link please..

probably lack of support for non english characters.

Forum is still working.. So I hope this will do the trick ...

I removed that member, Cause he made a second account with another nickname..
Guess his login did not work with his other nickname ..
Hopefully the problem is fixed now
