I suggested to steve that the calendar system should be able to use your countdown notifier for next event in the calendar as time proceeds - fully automatically.
But perhaps it is you I should give a push ?

im not sure about the best way to do this.
But a guess would be that Steve strip down the countdown and include it in the calender ext, or use another countdown
Anyway, its a good idea

Hello everyone
The countdown is very nicely done and versatile, especially in our small community.
As I've always been used to, your *.css is perfectly maintained and completely customizable.
Since my browser is set to German, it constantly translates the page I'm visiting (English) into my language. I noticed that the countdown visibly jumps every second, from English text, which doesn't take up the same amount of space, to German text. This creates a "blinking effect." Can this be prevented?
I strongly suspect this is a browser translation issue.
My forum is only in German, and everything is fine. On your site, everything is in English, perfectly fine. Since I'm not very fluent in English, I'm having it translated into German, which creates this effect.

I have no idea if this issue can be fixed.
But I guess that it is your translate plugin thats having a hard time with the JS in the countdown.
If possible try another translate plugin, but not sure what will work

Hello everyone
I just thought so, browser-wise. I don't have any plugins or extensions in my Chrome,
I just tell Chrome everything that's English, and it converts it to German.
The effect is pretty funny.
