Hello everyone
I've been searching like crazy but can't find anything
The phpbb3 forum has the option to enter your date of birth in the personal area.
I wanted to change this profile field so that it's also displayed during registration and becomes a required field.
However, I can't find a profile field that has a date of birth.
Do you know how I can do this?
Where is it hidden in phpbb3?

Yes, nothing from before seems to be working, which is a shame...
I've tried a few instructions in my test forum, but nothing has been even remotely successful.
It's a shame that phpbb3 doesn't offer something like this out of the box.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Not that it's any of my business but why doesn't your phpbb have the birthday functionality? Is it your particular theme or the speaking language? Just curious.
Agree with @Steve about the custom profile fields. That would technically work but I see how that would fall short of all the extras that come with the standard birthday functionality, like announcing it, searching, and probably lots of extensions that do cute things for people's birthdays.

I have no idea why there's no birthday profile field in the custom user profile fields.
There's no such profile field visible in the test forum 3.3.1.5 either.
So where does that come from?
If I create a custom profile field, such as a birthday with a date, I can activate it in the settings in the registration and specify it as a required field, but I can't find the existing one, which is visible in the images, anywhere. This is exactly what should be specified as a required field in the registration, because, as mentioned, many different extensions use this data to display average age, etc.
@Steve That would be super nice if Stoker would take care of that
