why would you want to parse bbcode? it for use for SEO keywords!

It doesnt parse bbcode for the reason cisco is mentoining.
There is a mod called Forum Sponsor that allows both html and bbcode, you can use that instead.

It didn't work with me (subsilver2)!
I made all the edits (with subsilver2 edits Re: Forum SEO (Post by Stoker #3567)), run the installer, refreshed subsilver template, Purged board cash, typed descriptions and keywords for some forums. But when viewing those forums there are no descriptions!

That particular piece of code wasnt updated tp the latest version, but I have just updated it now.
So you need to do those edits again.

Hi Stoker

I face this problem in the google webmaster:

Duplicate meta descriptions

every topic in a specific forum takes the same mata descriptions for that forum

Is there any way to prevent that?
