BBcode spoiler that prevents images from laoding

I have been trying to find a way to make it so that the images contained in a spoiler code type bbcode will not load until the "Show Spoiler" button has been clicked. I have no clue if this is even possible, but it would be incredibly useful for me.I have tried using a few ideas like iframes or javascript, but I am just not experienced enough to get this to work correctly, if possible. I would really appreciate any suggestions.
