Switching to fulltext MySQL

Ive tried fixing this issue for a while now asked in other forums nobody could help. I really want to install mods that require using fulltext MySQL. All my tables are in MYISAM but when I go to ACP it still says :
MySQL fulltext indexes can only be used with MyISAM tables
Anybody know anything about this?
