I know Google Adsense are very strict.
I went around the wrong way about getting it - I applied before I even had anything in the domain root and was declined because there wasn't enough content.

I'm not sure if Google Adsense is the best for forums, I think other advertisements would work better because their terms are not as strict and enforced.

I also banned by google by saying invalid clicks. In fact i never click their ads. I am now using bidvertiser. They are good in payments . I go through many but i found them best . You can check here http://www.bidvertiser.com/
