That's the sign of a good server moveNully wrote:I do not see any difference
@ Stoker
Have you considered running something like World Community Grid on this server? I can't see any negatives to doing so.

Here's a question. Is this a real dedicated server or a virtual dedicated server? I've seen some sites offering cheap dedicated hosting but it actually turns out to be of the virtual sort.
Afterthought.. how well is the 100mbit cap working out? As far as running the forums anyway. Working with an open source game development group and looking for a new host so we can host our mmo version of the game.
Love the site! Have other questions, will try to find the right place to post them.

I imagine forums on this server aren't coming close to 100mbps in daily traffic. Probably more like ~0.4mbps @ 95th%.pheonixstorm wrote: Afterthought.. how well is the 100mbit cap working out? Im not sure if anybody is interested, but I could offer some serious hosting on a dedicated server in Europe?
Dedicated servers do cost more than nornal web hosting, so we need at least for persons for this to come real.
Then it would be about 20 euro a month for a killer server setup.
Off course with the understanding that no one is allowed to kill the server

Just letting you guys know,
at the moment I am not happy with server4you.de because of recurring network problems.
To high packet loss causes high load time.
Im looking to find a new provider and will move my sites there as soon as possible.
