ACP does not show correctly !!! Please Help
This is my site address : http://bangaliaddarthek.bangalaforum.hostzi.com
Today morning I found my site's ACP is not showing as it should be , but it was working completely fine yesterday .....
yesterday I deed two modification ....
1. Put a border around Prosilver style ....
as I'm using many modification , I cannot change themes , I have to stick with prosilver as the most of the modifications uses prosilver theme ; so to have a goodlook with prosilver I followed instructions from this link ....
http://www.phpbb-seo.com/en/phpbb-forum ... tml#p16279
- this style modification is working fine .
2. As I'm using Board 3 Portal , I have edited the portal_left.html and portal_right.html to adjust the view with the style modification.
after doing this two changes , I was roaming arround the site for a long time and also I was going through the ACP .... everything was fine , even didn't notice any problem with the ACP .
but today morning just few minutes back I logged in, the Board and the portal pages r working fine .... but the ACP view is not what it was or should be ... but the acp is working ok except the view ....
I have attached two screenshots of my acp ..... Please Help

Re: ACP does not show correctly !!! Please Help
Looks like the stylesheet is not being read. Could be a browser problem.
Try with another browser and try press CTRL + F5 keys when you are in ACP

I tried with google chrome , mozilla , and IE 7 , none was fruitfull , also cleared the browser cache ...Stoker » 07 Apr 2010, 07:00 wrote:Looks like the stylesheet is not being read. Could be a browser problem.

and also CTRL + F5 didn't worked ....
waiting for your reply , Thanks in advance ...
also one thing I forgot to mention , that later I found that the portal configuration module was not been shown in the ACP .... then I replaced the changed portal template files (as mentioned in the first post) with the original portal template files .... now the portal conf. module is being displayed in the ACP ... but though I refreshed the template files and purged the cache , nothing change in the portal page in the site (which should have shown some changes as the previous portal template files were edited , but the replaced a original . )
p.s. if you want any of my files as example , please tell , I will send it to you via private msg .

Re: ACP does not show correctly !!! Please Help
I have check the mod instructions which I have installed recently , none indicates manual changing of any adm file , and incase of above mentioned modifications I have not changed any adm files ......
EDIT: atleast one month ago I have edited the adm/style/acp_forums.html , as I was installing the NV recent topic mod ...
as you mention about reuploading the whole adm style folder ...
1. I did that , but its didn't worked ....
2. as I uploaded the original the changes on acp_forum.html as above mention is not present , but the recent topic conf module is still been shown in acp (though I am not sure about if it should not be showing) , I purged cache , refreshed template .... success of this to step is mentioned in the log , but nothing changes .....

Re: ACP does not show correctly !!! Please Help
Are you willing to create an test-admin account and give me access to your ACP? And PM the account details + link to your board.
I would like to know for sure that the problem is phpBB and not something on your PC.
Or maybe you could try accessing your ACP from another PC.
