I hope I'm in the right place to ask this...
I am using subsilver2, 3.0.5.
It's a ajax chat question.
Say you are sitting on the index page, and haven't refreshed the index page.
When someone else goes into chat, could a sound that would alert you while you were just sitting on the index page, that someone has went into the chat, be added ? If so, please give me some direction, and some details.
Is there a way to do this ?

If you want an addon for a mod, in this case ajax chat, I will suggest you ask the mod author.

Thank you Stoker, I will give it a try.
Re: Is there a way to do this ?
Well, I guess that is not going to happen. Here is the bold statement there. And also, no one seems to be answering any questions posted.
Please do not send e-mails or private messages to the developers for support requests.

just like here, people can't answer your post right away, give it time. people can get busy.
and as far as the statement that is just about everywhere, developers and mod author can get bambarded with emails and PM's with questions that can just as well be asked on the forums, that is what they are for.

I don't believe I have ever rushed anyone on an answer here, or any other place.cisco007 » 01 May 2010, 18:21 wrote:just like here, people can't answer your post right away, give it time. people can get busy.

I understand the statement, but, there is no other place to get in touch with the latest author, except pm, or email. And I didn't see anything close to the info I'm seeking.
I understand the whole busy thing. A simple, I'll get back to you would be fine.
Yes, I agree, but when you see many posts for different things, at some forums, that are never answered from a year ago, it kind of makes you wonder.
Ok, I have joined them, went through 4 pages and finally found a contact email. Now to see if in the near future, I get an answer. A week or so would not bother me in the least.

Just an update. No reply...I didn't think so.
