As instructed in the update document (contrib folder), you have to run the installer which is the *.php file you are referring to..

1. tells you to upload the installer to your forum.
2. tells you to upload a language file to your forum
3 tells you to upload a folder to your forum

In each case it also tells you where to upload the files to.
You need to do this, else it wont work for you.

in /contrib are 2 text files: 1.0.3 to 1.0.4 & 1.0.4 to 1.0.5 and this mod has arrived to 1.0.7, so what's next?

yes, i`m reffering to the install php file in to the /root
