New custom profile field??

Not sure if this has been covered already, but I did a search and didn't find any results on this specific query...

So here goes...

I want to create a profile field, where by members of my board can have the option put in their dogs date of birth and breed and have there age, breed and name appear in the profile, both next to the the posts and in the members profiles.

Could someone help me? :)

do a search for custom profile fields in the snippets forum, you might find some help there!
