Installed the Welcome on Index mod but it doesn't work right

I installed the above mentioned mod ensuring that I am copy / pasting the code exactly as mentioned at the right locations

I even copied the language/en/common.php to the EN (US) folder since I use English US on my forums but that didn't help.......here is how it looks.... please check the attachment

Please help me, what do you think I did wrong? I also attached the install.xml

I didn't copy any files to my server just entered the codes,,,is there any file that needs to be copied also because I see a file named modx.prosilver.en.xsl but I didn't know what to do with it so I just followed the guide entering the relevant codes

Just to be clear: This forum is for my premod.
You dont have the Premod, right?

Your error tells that you have an error in your language file.
Make sure that you inserted the code BEFORE the ?> and NOT after.

oh sorry I am new to these forums I didn't know where to post this...

but thank you for telling me about the language file. I will try it again
