Howto install smilies

A little guide to the people who doesn't know how to install extra smilies.
Hopefully it will be clear enough so that everybody understand.
If not, please don't hesitate to ask.

Upload Your new smilies to your_forum_folder/images/smilies
Go to ACP and click the POSTINGS tab. Choose Smilies in the menu to the left.
You will get this screen:

Scroll down to the bottom and press the "Add multiple smilies" button:

Next screen shows which smilies that is uploaded to the smilies folder.
I have uploaded 4 big smilies:

Now to the configuration.

Smiley code
Here You must choose which code that should be used.
Example:

Code: Select all

:cool:

Emotion
Here You must choose which emotion that should be used.
Example: Happy, Angry, Mad etc.

Smiley width and Smiley height
Do nothing. The system will detect the right settings.
If not, this is the place to edit.

Display on posting page
If You want the smilie to display on the postings page, this option has to be checked.
If not, uncheck it.

Smiley order
Here You can choose the order.

Add
This option has to be checked for the system to install Your new smilies.

Example:

Press the submit button.
Congratulations, You have now installed 4 new smilies
