Making it real donating MOD.

Hello my friend,

Pretty nice start for the mod, however I would have some suggestion.

PHPBB Session contains pretty much information and the PayPal returns a lot in its callback too.

How about to assign the username of the donator while processing donation, then after donation has been successfully made.. just callback and get the PayPal info returned and catch 'ed by forum, then save such user on donators list (would prefer to keep it confidential). Also then it is very easy to add such user automatically to specified in ACP group

then update the bar automatically too.. I am fan of automation ^^ it would be a kick ass mod then.

Well, application of some PayPal API will be required, but not much.

Pretty easy to be done, however I do not like work over somebodies MOD, at the moment I am using your mod, if you are not planning such upgrade of the mod sooner or later I am gonna do it. Let me know..

P.S. I like your fading images on forum, can you post things for this? please

I dont plan such features for two reasons.
1. Im not able to code it
2. I dont think it is really necessary

For Donors List... A anonymous donate button would be great aswell. I mean if this mod does get automatized

Myself and others will definitely be happy to have the progressbar and donors update automatically.

Cant wait to see what you come up with Wizzy

Yes, a nice field where they have to fill in their Username (or link or anything) would be great!

I dont think a username field is needed, aslong as the user is logged in when donating then phpbb can detect the name of the donor automatically. If a user is not logged in then display: Donation by Anonymous

Yes, but if someone donates I need the link to his Steam Profile
