Installation:

1. Copy the entire contents of the repository to ext/stoker/portal/
2. Navigate in the ACP to Customise -> Extension Management -> Extensions.
3. Click Enable.

That would definitely take out the simple part of the portal...

What about the country flags?

Country flags are a server extension. You need mod_geoip for this.
