are you saying avatar uploads are to small ? goto avatar settings in admin and change default size.

no siree. didnt mean that one. i already did that when i started with the phpbb3, i was asking why the avatar seems to display smaller in the topics posting page
take this page for example
note the user davinci's icon display size.
it is rather small (despite me already setting maximum avatar size to be 100x100 in control panel
(and of course purging cache, style, template)
and should appear this big
