Not to put a damper on things, why have a chat mod? its not search engine friendly all the chat could be good content for your new site. and phpBB3 already has a built in pm system.
Sorry ....

Fair enough Steve, but the members on my forum really miss using the chatroom, when you said its not search engine friendly did you mean that the search (google ect..) won't find the chatroom or did you mean that the whole site can't be found if it were installed?

i mean teach your guys/gals to post in the forum to create content and keep the chat for spam :steve:
Depends on the chats permissions settings and if search engine bots can access it.

They normally use the chat for :steve: anyways lol...

So having it installed won't effect the whole boards as a far as search engine exposure goes?

ps. I like the spam smiley :)
