ok, i think my version of phpbb is the current 3.07 ric and i dont really think is that cause the problem.
i was typed uf8 word like asian to the mchatlang.php witch in the language folder. so i save that way(uf8).by useing a txt save as.the word show just fine.but other thing is a dizaster.the main panel of mchat just out my ie in the right.and also my search box in the top went out too.i think that is a css problem so i change the css but it cant make any change.
any idea.or it just cant support uf8

phpBB (All versions) can only read UTF-8 Without BOM.
You need a text editor such as Notepad++ to save them correctly so it can be read.
That might be why your having issues with the mchat.
