Where to put te simpleportal_body.html file? (/styles/../template) ?

And what do you mean exactly by "in line add before:" ?

To be short, I want this mod but I can't get it to work...

All html files goes in the template folder

"in line add before:" means that you should put the code just before the find.

I like this due to the fact that you stated that it's going to be simple and no "high load".

I've never used a portal before so please excuse my questions if they come-off as stupid.

How is the info for "Welcome to PhpBB3 BBCodes" and "BBCode Explanation" added (in your demo)? Is it added via a Board post?

Since there is no ACP, will the ability to disable/enable sections be made via one of the php files or is everything automatically enabled. For example, if I didn't want to use the "Newest Users" block... ?
